...been ill for so long. I'm only just realising the significance of my survival and the significance of being under this tree - calm for the first time in years. Calm also because I know my power. I shan't cower helpless and be told I [can't] change things. Now I'm really mad.

I've just realised, I've squashed the birds eggshell through clasping my books too tightly to my chest! [The eggshell was in my shirt pocket]. Stupid cow!
