The image shown is both unique and intriguing. It was drawn directly onto my screen at the Feb. 4th event as a response/ interaction with my work. It shows a cube/screen like container with an eye inside, looking outwards. The arrows could indicate a gaze that is extending around and out from the cube and yet the direct line of vision between the eye and the viewer is barred. The artist dated her work incorrectly as ‘4 Mar 2003’ which (for me) adds to the indexical moment of its production.
